Join our campaign this Thursday evening at 6 p.m. as I speak with the NAACP San Diego chapter about our grassroots "neighborhoods first" campaign for San Diego City Council in District 6, my background and career, and policy concerns including infrastructure, housing, homelessness, public power, our city's Climate Action Plan, and the need for greater transparency and clarity in city government.
As the former president, and later, vice president for policy at San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action, I served as the club's representative to the NAACP San Diego Environment and Climate Justice Committee for several years, and I look forward to making remarks and taking questions with the full chapter this Thursday at 6 p.m.
